A UNIQUE SELECTION IN THE TOWNSHIPS (Click on the pictures)
There is quite a glossary when it comes to world of wine. Words at times complicated where it is easy to lose oneself in front of all that vocabulary.
With Patrice Tinguy, our sommelier, you' ll be spared the technical language. His style is more of « Big Taster » then » Big Talker ».
Da Toni's wine cellar is made of glass and sits right in the center of the restaurant. « And it is filled with all kinds of surprises » Patrice tells us « where flavors from all over the world find themselves ».
Whether they are speciality wines or of private importation, more than 175 varieties fill our cellar. A presitigious cellar filled with products for everyone between 24 and 1000 dollars. « Wines that speak for themselves », he says, « A bordeaux MUST taste like a bordeaux, it's as simple as that.
Now, all there is left to do is to match the tastes. Not anyone either... YOURS. And on this note, his experience acquired over the last twelve years of travel makes of Patrick an excellent guide for your entire dining experience.
Bolgheri Sassicaia, Sassicaia, Tenuta San Guido, Toscane
An awesome wine that went from vino da Tavola to a D.O.C. in 1994 and permitted the Toscan region of Italy to start making great wines with Cabernet and Merlot vines evidently associated with the best of the Sangiovese.
And after all, why not! Some recent research tend to prove that those vines where cultivated in the Roman era. One thing is sure here, one glass of Bolgheri Sassicaia and the most stubborn of wine drinkers will make him the most fervent supporter of the so-called "international" vines of Italy.

Liano , Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon, i.g.t. Rubicone, Umberto Cesari
From the region of Emilie-Romagne, the Liano transcends the Sangiovese et Cabernet Sauvignon vines from which it's made. A very gentle wine and concentrated as well. Discovered by Quebecers less than 5 years ago, it now has a place of choice in our cellars.
